Terms of Service for Gcode Viewer

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Gcode Viewer mobile application ("the App"), a CNC Scanner and G-Code viewing tool for Android and iOS devices. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Description of Service

Gcode Viewer is a CNC Simulator and G-Code analyzing application that allows machinists and engineers to:

• Use the CNC Scanner feature to capture and interpret G-Code from photos
• View and analyze CNC programs offline
• Access Toolpath viewer functionality for better visual understanding
• Process CAD/CAM generated code files

License and Use Rights

Grant of License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal and professional CNC machining purposes.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or to solicit the performance of any illegal activity
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers
• Share your device access to allow unauthorized use of the App
• Use the App to view or process malicious G-Code that could damage CNC equipment

User Responsibilities

As a user of our CNC Simulator and G-Code viewing app:

• You are responsible for ensuring the G-Code you analyze is safe for your CNC equipment
• You must comply with all relevant safety standards for CNC machining operations
• You agree to use the App's suggestions and interpretations as supplemental information only
• You acknowledge that final interpretation and execution of G-Code remains your professional responsibility

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive for accuracy in our G-Code analysis:

• The App serves as a CNC program assistant, not a substitute for professional judgment
• Always verify Toolpath viewer results manually before CNC execution
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of G-Code interpretation from photos
• Machinists should have independent knowledge of G-Code commands and parameters

Limitation of Liability

Except as required by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Damage to CNC equipment resulting from misinterpreted G-Code
• Production delays or material waste
• Lost profits or business interruption
• Data loss or corruption

The cumulative liability for all claims related to the App shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the App (if any).

Intellectual Property

The App, including its user interface, features, and content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The CNC Scanner technology, STL Viewer capabilities, and G-Code simulation algorithms are proprietary to Gcode Viewer.

Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with third-party services including OpenAI's vision models for image processing. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination

We may terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms cease immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which our company is registered, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
